1. Edgefest 2012

    Best parts:
CAKE, Garbage (Shirley Manson is still hot, I don’t care what you say), and Dead Sara.

    Worst parts:
Freaking crowd surfers, and all these little kids smoking weed. WHERE ARE YOUR DAMN PARENTS? YOU’RE LIKE 12.

Overall, a great lineup and a good time. Over and out, my friends.

  2. "Incalculably
    We shift in our bones
    At our seams
    We’re not what we were
Nor are we what we’re going to be
So where does that leave us right now
Except gloriously unaware of how this will turn out?"

-Josh Pyke, “Don’t Wanna Let You Down.” Loving this man’s catchy tunes, beautiful lyrics, and oh, of course the delicious accent. Special thanks to itsjustcharli who mentioned Josh Pyke in a post a while back and turned me on to his Australian charms.

(P.S. If you’re into medical/nursing stuff, you ought to check Charli out, she keeps a damn good blog.)

  3. Music to soothe the neurotic soul.

I made a playlist on itunes tonight that I’ve entitled “Chill out, Erin” for my less together moments. I figured I’m not the only person who benefits from the calming effect of music, so I’m sharing my playlist with you. If there are any songs you think belong on this list, please share. :)
