1. Doing yoga with Ray Lamontagne playing in the background is as close to a spiritual experience as I’m probably ever going to get.

  2. I’m starting to see some actual, physical changes in my body since I began my new workout/health plan. It’s only been a few weeks, and the changes are small things that probably only I will notice for now, but it’s enough to be seriously encouraging.

    And the best part? I’m loving the actual working out part for probably the first time in my life. I found a great studio with yoga, nia (my new favorite thing, and a hell of a good, fun workout), and barre classes and I actually really look forward to going.

    Perhaps the key all along has been finding a way to work out that’s also actually enjoyable. Imagine that.
